Monday-Wednesday: Because we met our demise last week, (and as a reward for their hard work), we are once again going to try to successfully make the 2000 mile jouney to Oregon. :o) The students are learning key information relating to the Oregon Trail, and also enjoy the experience. Hopefully we’ll make it all the way this time!
Thurday: TLW define the key terms for Chapter 14

Friday: TLW discuss how new inventions changed manufacturing and farming in the North.

Monday-Friday:
* Students will start reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Students will be given their own copy to use while we are reading the book, but please take care of them. You will be responsible for replacing the book if it is excessively damaged.
* A study guide will be issued on Monday, and students are responsible for completing it as we read. Periodic checks will be given during the week.
* Chapter quizzes will be given after every 2 chapters and a final project will be assigned before students finish the book.
