* Read section 1 orally, taking notes and discussing main ideas

Thursday: TLW describe how settlers traveled west.
Chapter 11, Section 2, pages 337-341
* List methods of transportation
* Discuss the effect an improved transportation system would have on the factory system
* Read section 2 orally, while discussing and recording main ideas
* Homework: Section Review Questions assigned in class and writing activity on p. 341.

Friday: TLW continue reviewing manufacturing and transporation.
* Complete p. 61-62 in workbook
* Quiz over first 2 sections of chapter 11.
