Welcom Back! :o) Happy New Year! Writing Assessment is just around the corner so lets get to work! We are about to begin a “Writing Blitz”!

Monday: TLW define weekly vocabulary words and compete activites using them in context.
* Theme- Cuisine

Tuesday: TLW review writing fundamentals and components of a good essay
* Complete notes and class discussion on necessary writing steps

Wednesday: TLW focus on writing solid 5 paragraph essays.
* Complete 5 paragraph essay on role models
* Peer edit essays for “dead” verbs and sentence fragments.
* Rewrite essays for homework

Thursday: TLW continue review of expository writing.
* Pee edit essay rewrites
* Takes notes on and review holistic grading rubric

Friday: TLW complete vocabulary review and continue review of writing fundamentals.
* Complete weekly vocabulary quiz

Lessons may change to meet the needs of my students.
