* Read section and complete assessment questions 3, 4, 5 on p. 251 (finish for homework if necessary).

Wednesday: TLW review key principals from the Constitution.
Chapter 8, Section 1 pages 248-251
* Cooperative learning groups will create a visual representation of one of the basic principals of the Constitution and present an explanation to the class

Thursday: TLW explain the system of checks and balances of our government.
Chapter 8, Section 2, pages 252-257
* Complete this sentence: If I were President, I would ___________________.
* Read section 2 orally, highlighting main ideas and vocabulary

Friday: TLW describe how to change the Constitution.
Chapter 8, Section 3, pages 259-261
* Can reasonable people disagree? We will discuss this question.
* Read section 3 orally in small groups and discuss as a class upon completion
