Tuesday: TLW explain why state governments wrote constitutions.

* Spanish
* Discuss which is more important, state or local government. How would decisions be made without a governing body?
* Read section 1 orally discussing main ideas

Wednesday: TLW research states for historical information.
Chapter 7, Section 1, pages 200-205
* In small groups students will research states for specific information
* Groups will decide how to record and present information to class
* Bring art supplies

Thursday: TLW explain the main difference between the two plans for a new Constitution.
Chapter 7, Section 2, pages 206-210
* Read section 2 orally as a class while discussing Washington’s decline, Shay’s Rebellion and the Articles of Confederation
* Complete workbook pages for sections 1 & 2

Friday: TLW identify traditions of freedom and explain ratification.
Chapter 7, Section 3 & 4
* Read sections 3 & 4 orally and discuss
* Discuss concerns about the Constitution
* Complete study questions at the end of each section for homework
