Monday: TLW review and complete weekly vocabulary packet.
*Each week students will be given a vocabulary packet. Definitions will be discussed and examples of the words will be used in context before the students complete the various practice exercises. Packets must be complete by Tuesday. Please note that this will be done weekly unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday: TLW review types of Internal and External Conflict
*Review vocabulary packets
*Take notes on the various forms of conflict scenarios in literature.
*Assign “Man vs. Himself” Project. Due Friday, Aug. 31st.

Wednesday: TLW continue review of conflict
*Read “Broken Chain” aloud and discuss
*Complete venn diagram of the conflict in the story
*Short story and conflict quiz tomorrow

Thursday: TLW continue review of conflict
*Complete comprehension questions for story
*Complete conflict review assignment
*Short story and conflict quiz

Friday: TLW review vocabulary fundamentals
*Daily Spark folder check
*Internal conflict project due
*Short small group review before vocabulary quiz
*Complete vocabulary quiz
*Labor Day Puzzle for extra credit
