Tuesday: TLW begin exploring the first civilations of America and Native American cultures.
*Define key terms in sections 1 and 2
Wednesday: TLW research a Native American civilization and create a visual representation of the group.
Chapter 2, Sections 1-2 pages 36-49
* Students will work in small groups to research a group of people, create a visual representation and complete a portion of a spreadsheet provided by the teacher
* Bring art supplies and any research material you have to class

*Each week students will be given a vocabulary packet. Definitions will be discussed and examples of the words will be used in context before the students complete the various practice exercises. Packets must be complete by Tuesday. Please note that this will be done weekly unless otherwise noted.
Tuesday: TLW review types of Internal and External Conflict
*Review vocabulary packets
*Take notes on the various forms of conflict scenarios in literature.
*Assign “Man vs. Himself” Project. Due Friday, Aug. 31st.
