Thursday: TLW review the elements of plot and the steps of the writing process.
* Quiz over plot diagram and story
* Review the steps to the writing process and effective ways to start an essay

Friday: TLW review vocabulary fundamentals and writing process
* Short review session before vocab quiz
* Review steps in the writing process and peer edit student essays

* Students will work in small groups to research a group of people, create a visual representation and complete a portion of a spreadsheet provided by the teacher
* Bring art supplies and any research material you have to class

* Students will complete a diagnostic test to check for previous learning in the areas of reading comprehension and grammar
